Halfway House – extract…

With daily visits to the lookout I continued to witness and answered many questions. In time they became receptive especially Paul who was the first person I came across. He gave his life to Jesus and attended church with my family when he came to live with us.

Prior to his moving in with us I met him with a friend walking along the main street in Redcliffe haemorrhaging blood from his nose and mouth. I asked if I could pray with him which I did and immediately the bleeding stopped.

It was at this point I realised we needed a house to accommodate these men. I had no idea where the house would be nor could I fund it for purchase or rent. God laid it heavily on my heart that this would come to pass. How I didn’t know but I believed God would provide.

And He did!
